EmailThe Nevada Motor Transport Association has retained Michael C. Mills, Esq. of the law firm of Mills & Associates to act as its General Counsel. Both the NMTA and Mills & Associates anticipate that this arrangement will enhance the service that can be provided to Nevada’s motor carrier industry.
Both the NMTA and Mills & Associates have long been involved with Nevada’s motor carriers. NMTA has promoted the interests of the motor carriers in Nevada since 1932. It is the voice of the industry before state, county and city governments.
Mr. Mills is well prepared to take on the role of General Counsel. As an attorney, he has been the advocate of motor carriers in Nevada courthouses for over 20 years. In addition to being an active member of the NMTA, he is also a member of the Trucking Insurance Defense Association, the Defense Research Institute Trucking Committee and the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association.
Mills & Associates looks forward to using its experience to contribute to the NMTA and its mission. Mr. Mills expects that both the NMTA and Mills & Associates will benefit greatly from this collaboration.
