You may recognize Retired District Court Judge Jackie Glass as the former host of the nationally syndicated court-television program Swift Justice with Jackie Glass. You may have seen her in her pre-law days as a television journalist. Or you might remember that she presided over O.J. Simpson’s Las Vegas criminal trial, State of Nevada v. O.J. Simpson. Her experience as a trial lawyer and judge has led her to her current practice as a mediator/arbitrator at Private Trials.
District Court Judge (Ret) Jackie Glass agreed to speak at the DRI Trucking Seminar held in Las Vegas, Nevada June 19, 2014. Judge Glass will provide insights about challenges faced by mediators, those created by the process and those created by the parties. She will share strategies that mediations participants can use as they prepare for and participate in mediations.
Mike Mills was instrumental in securing Judge Glass’s appearance at the seminar. Having appeared before her when she was on the bench, Mike knows Judge Glass. She graciously accepted his invitation to speak when Mike approached in behalf of Trucking Law Seminar Program Planning Committee, of which Mike is a member.
This conference will include many great speakers and informative presentations. However, expect that Judge Glass, just as she has in so many other appearances, will be a star of the Seminar.
