Email The July issue of Nevada Business magazine reports that Nevada is “poised to become a major distribution center in the West.” The article entitled The Logistics of Economic Recovery: The Distribution Industry In Nevada written by Jessica Santina states that the creations infrastructure improvements like the I – 11 Freeway and industrial multi-modal distribution centers in Las Vegas would put Southern Nevada in a better position to tap into the market that moves goods from Southern California toward the East coast. The article also explains why Reno is uniquely suited to capitalize on that distribution network opportunity. As Nevada expands its horizons in these areas, opportunities for trucking companies in Nevada and surrounding states can only increase.
