In an earlier post on our Nevada Insurance Law Blog, we described some of the things an attorney must consider in deciding whether a case filed in state court must or should be removed to federal court. Having just completed a trial in federal court I wanted to give my impressions about that experience.

On January 26, 2010, the US Department of Transportation announced the publication of regulations prohibiting texting by drivers of commercial vehicles such as large trucks and busses. The secretary of transportation, Ray Hood indicated that this would be an important step in eliminating the threat of distracted driving.
